Locally, ultramafic rocks host dry hairline fractures. No primary sulphides have been identified in the occurrence area.

A sample (37186) from the occurrence area assayed 0.192 per cent copper, 0.149 gram per tonne platinum and 0.212 gram per tonne palladium (Assessment Report 35680).

Work History

The area has been historically explored in conjunction with the nearby Ridge (MINFILE 094C 164) occurrence and a complete regional exploration history can be found there.

In 2007, 2014 and 2015, U. Mowat completed programs of prospecting and geochemical (rock and soil) sampling on the area as the Star property.
